Jen called the meeting to order at 8:45p.m. 

I.      UniverCity 2000 
  A.      Hannah from last year cane and said she would relay information back to 
            Matt about getting a prize list together. 

II.     T-Shirts 
  A.      Designs need to be in by the 10th of September. 
  B.      More info to follow after mass e-mail is out. 

III.    Web page 
  A.      Chris has started to redo our page. 
  B.      Talked about having a welcome page and links to other events and activity 
            pages. 
  C.      Would like to put weekly minutes in.  All thought it was a good idea. 

IV.     Fall Initiation 
  A.     Will be on November 19th at 2:00 in Cardinal Hall 
  B.      Megan is going to send letter to the new Dean of the Honor’s College to 
           see if he will speak and be our honorary member. 
  C.      Hannah is going to get a certified interpreter for the Deaf/Hearing 
            Impaired 
  D.      Megan will be reserving the podium, microphone, platform, etc. 
  E.      Decided not to serve cookies and punch for Fall Initiation. 

V.      Mud Volleyball 
  A.      We have the shelter by the football field from 11-1 on Saturday September 
            23. 
  B.      Talked about getting party subs from Subway and have veggie trays and 
           chips also. 

VI.     University Senate 
  A.      Laura wanted to know if we would be attendance takers for University 
           Senate meetings on Thursday evenings at 4:00 in TC 101. 
  B.      Decided we would and had those who could sign up 

VII.    Homecoming 
  A.   Will talk more about later. 
  B.    Hannah is making sure we get registered for the parade 

VIII.   Newsletter 
  A.      We are going to wait until after Mud Volleyball to start. 
  B.      Talked about sending first newsletter out on paper and then have the rest 
           on the web page. 
  C.      Also talked about having an ALD Member of the Month. Jen said she would 
            try to get things for the winners. 

IX.     Next meeting is in the Library.  Meet at the Naked Lady at 8:45 p.m.
