September 7, 2000
Library Room 201 

Jen called the meeting to order at 9:50 p.m. 

Members attending: Jen Marx, Tanya Winner, Janelle Prahl, Chris Schilling, 
Megan Pickens, Andrea Smith, and Hannah Harbac 
Member Absent: Kylie Shellenberger 

I.      T-Shirts 
  A.      Nobody has turned in any designs yet!! 

II.     Homecoming 
  A.      Hannah told us of all the activities that we could participate in. 
  B.      Decided later to do the banner in the parade, Obstacle Course, and the 
            Bed Race. 
  C.      Decided not to pay the flat rate, but pay for each activity separately. 

III.    Mud Volleyball 
  A.      Have four people signed up to play minus the executive board members. 
  B.      Exec. Members signed up to play 
  C.      Janelle got the prices for meats at Marsh and got the number for the 
           Subway in Columbus, IN. 
  D.      Going to call soon to see if we could get a discount on a party sub. 

IV.     Fall Initiation 
  A.      Megan said that everything is reserved for the Fall Initiation. 
  B.      Reminded that the translator is coming. 
  C.      Jen is checking on the Spring Initiation date. Will tell us ASAP. 
  D.      Decided to have the Dean of the Honor’s College speak at Fall Initiation 
           and have the President of the University be our Honorary Member. Then at 
          Spring Initiation we will have the opposite. The President of the University 
          will speak and the President of the Honor’s College will be inducted as an 
          Honorary Member. 

V.      Webmaster 
  A.      Jen is going to find out what happened with O’Hare not knowing he was the 
          professor of the year last year. 
  B.      Thought about having a Professor of the Month for the web page as well as 
          a Member of the Month. 
  C.      Chris didn’t like the web page he started so he is starting over. 

VI.     UniverCity 2000 
  A.      Matt is in the process of designing the poster to send out to RA’s, 
          Student Organizations, Educational Departments, etc. 
  B.      We will be working Sunday 17th through Friday 22nd. 
  C.      Signed up for the days that we have open to work. Matt will let us know 
          what days he needs us to work for sure. 
  D.      Matt told us how we are going to run the “Who Wants to Be a Hundredaire” 
  E.      We will have a booth to put out informational pamphlets, and maybe 
          t-shirt order forms. 

VII.    Nationals 
  A.      We have two seats and an advisors spots. 
  B.      Jen, Kylie, and Dr. Shea are going and we will not need to pay for 
         transportation for Dr. Shea and Kylie because they will already be there. 
  C.     Still unsure if there are spots open to last years execs for winning the 
         Maintain the Flame award. 
  D.     Transportation is still up in the air because Jen will fly if the old 
         execs are not going and renting a van to drive if they can go. 

VIII.   Miscellaneous 
  A.      Worked on writing out questions for UniverCity 2000.  Got lots done!!! 
            Thanks!! 
  B.      Going to have dinner at the Olive Garden on September 17th at 12:30. If 
            you can make it please come. Dr. Shea is buying!!! 

Next weeks meeting is going to be in Schmidt/Wilson at 8:45.
        Following weeks are in places as follows: 
                        September 21st in Trane Hall 
                        September 28th in Baker Hall
