Alpha Lambda Delta has blossomed this spring semester, rushing its up and coming members and elected a new executive board who is shadowing the current ALD team. At spring initiation the honorary member was Dr. Jayne Belike and the keynote speaker was Dr. Donald Miesell who is the current dean of students at Ball State who will be retiring at the end of the year.
This semester the ALD team has held a pizza party and movie night in the Bots/Swin lounge for its members. The organization also had sponsored a trip to our nation’s capitol, for residents on campus, where students visited the holocaust museum, monuments, and other famous sites in Washington D.C.
The executive board has planned to “rock out” at Little Kin sponsoring a booth and where siblings could make pet rocks. The final event of the 2000-2001 school year is the Spirit Extravaganza, where on campus organization can show off their spirit through games and contests.
